And you would happen to be the son of the LL president at the time (so go ahead and defend daddy) and there was no lawsuit - it was a point that needed to be proven - and it was - that little league is for all kids that want to play and they cannot be banned just because they play travel ball....Coeburn Little League tried to ban Hannah because she was participating on a travel team, they tried to make her choose one team or the other....It was taken to court to prove the point that you cannot ban a "kid" from Little League for playing on another team, and after the point was proven, Coeburn Little League had to eat crow! And another added point - daddy is not the president anymore, nor is anyone left on the board from that era in time and there is another travel team in Coeburn and those kids no longer play little league!

Then why don't you get out there and teach the kids who are in little league? Or at least support them. Little League is not a joke. It becomes a joke when people like you don't have enough interest in our youth to help them in something. Go to a game, volunteer. There are all kinds of things you could be doing to help. This would take some of the stress off the coaches so they could have more time to teach these kids the game. You call yourself a fan? A real fan would help any way they can. Instead, you sit here and call something like little league a "joke". </div></div>

However, when you want to put together your own team and cherry pick kids that your child wants to play with, then you've got the wrong idea from the start. That's where ASA fits their style...which is fine. However, LL won't ever be that way.

Well I'm pretty sure football is different from softball. The boys on the football field rarely hear individual fans yelling things. Like I said before the fans in the stands was not the problem, it was the ones sitting behind homeplate!

You still never got the point...no one was ever "banned" from playing LL because they were on a travel team. They were banned because their parents declared them an injury scratch for LL games, and then went to play ASA games full-time. So that's on the parents' hands, and still is.

And show me one judgement where CLL had to eat crow.

And as for that president no longer being president--it was by his own choice--not because he was voted out.

Rise Ball? Well maybe a high fast ball, but theres not a pitcher in lpd high school that has a true rise ball!

I beg to differ with you on that. I have seen the girl from PV do it and one from Gate City throw it this year.

I thought you said it was a lawsuit and that they sued the little league.
